What is Poverty?

As defined by wikipedia, poverty is the lack of basic human needs, such as clean water, nutrition, health care, education, clothing, and shelter, because of the inability to afford them. Basically someone is in poverty when they don't have the simple things they need to survive, generally because of lack of money.
