Why is Poverty So Common?

There are tons of places all over the world where you can find poverty. Even here in America a lot of states have plenty of people who are in need. Lots of people have very little or no money. Sometimes it is due to job loss or not being able to do anything for money. In other countries known as third world countries, there aren't even jobs for someone to make money with. Unforunately, poverty is widespread.

How You Can Help People in Need

1) Donate old or unwanted clothing to local clothing bins
2) Give food to the food pantrys
3) Donate money to charities
4) Help build shelters or homes

What is Poverty?

As defined by wikipedia, poverty is the lack of basic human needs, such as clean water, nutrition, health care, education, clothing, and shelter, because of the inability to afford them. Basically someone is in poverty when they don't have the simple things they need to survive, generally because of lack of money.

Former Patriots Player Survives Crash

Former Patriot's line-backer Junior Seau drove off a cliff in Carlsbrad, California, this monday. He was hospitalized with minor injuries after driving off a 100 ft. cliff. Luckily, it wasn't a straight drop but he shot down the steep cliff with quite speed. There was no sign of skid marks or any drugs or alcohol involved and police believe he fell asleep at the wheel. After he left the hopstial he was charged with domestic violence against his girlfriend who lives with him. He posted bail and was out of jail within a few days. Seau is doing fine now and the police believe he was just a little shaken up from the whole accident.
